“LESSONS OF DEATH”

How Washington plans to fight Russia to the last drop of Ukrainian blood?

By Sir Charlattam

As predicted, Ukraine will gradually become a battlefield for a hybrid war in which elements outside the contenders will play a critical role in the unfolding of events. The dangers of this are unpredictable. Examples of the consequences have been seen in Iraq, Libya and Syria and that is why what the US and its allies are encouraging will only bring greater instability not only for the Ukrainians but for Europe as a whole.

As has already been made public, the execution of the Russian military operation nipped in the bud a destabilising plan that had been conceived several years earlier by Washington and for which it enlisted the services of the private RAND Corporation, which specialises in methods of subverting order in other states.

The plans have also not turned out as expected. While Russia and especially its government are paying for costly political capital, the destruction of its potential is far from assured and far from being just around the corner. Washington and NATO's first objective has failed as they did not succeed in penetrating Ukraine as planned. While they are currently the behind-the-scenes backers of what is left of Zelensky's government, they find it much more difficult to get a foothold on the ground. That's why they are betting on a surreptitious, slow but gradual filtering through their “proxy” groups.

We have said that Ukraine has been populated by irregular groups and militias that will complicate the situation. In fact, this is nothing new, as irregular groups of assassins and saboteurs have been operating in Donbass since 2014. But today NATO is making it a general tactic over the whole of Ukraine. It is the answer to the early demolition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For Zelensky and his people, putting the Russians in a stalemate through guerrilla warfare seems the only option, but he has not thought through the cost. He even encourages mercenaries from all over the world to join the cause. When the US and its British partner invaded Iraq in 2003, Arab volunteers who crossed the borders to join the Iraqi resistance were labelled by Washington as “terrorists” so those who are sent to Ukraine today.

As I have also said, hypocrisy and double standards are a continuity in Anglo-Saxon foreign policy. Now that it is useful, mercenaries are called "freedom fighters" (as in Afghanistan in 1986, Libya in 2011 or Syria in 2013) and encouraged to join the ranks of the Ukrainian cause. Many are experienced war criminals who have served the US in Iraq and Syria, but many others who are being recruited in the embassies of many Western countries are dupes who are being manipulated by the information intoxication mill of the Western Media Corporation to ultimately serve as NATO cannon fodder.

Against such a backdrop, attempts by Brussels and Washington to bring Sweden and Finland into membership may be severely hampered as they may sense that they would end up being the useful idiots if this gets complicated.

We are even hearing that many US veterans are determined to go it alone at the risk of losing their pensions (Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the US Constitution). But there are also suspicions that some contingents are organised by the federal government and have Pentagon officials and CIA advisors covertly directing their activities, which would mean that their pensions would not be touched.

There are also other colleagues on the same side who operated in the shadows and did dirty work especially in Baghdad and later moved to Syria. Many of these were part of the “Al Qaeda-Iraq” cells and similar shenanigans that under the term "Counterinsurgency" (run by the Military Intelligence Battalions led by General David Petraeus) and together with private security companies such as "BlackWater" served to keep the country under controlled chaos. Also, from elements of “ISIS”, another Anglo-Saxon intelligence franchise created to try to crumble the Syrian Arab state from Iraq and then moved to Afghanistan under the mask of “ISIS-K”. They are experts in urban terrorism hoping to cause damage to Russian troops if they occupy Kiev. But who will pay for all this mobilization? Because this is a very lucrative business.

Russia has not been left behind and has already received proposals from abroad for volunteers to fight on its side. It is true that President Vladimir Putin openly expressed the brazenness of the "Western partners of Ukraine" who had no qualms about recruiting mercenaries in the open and therefore ordered the Ministry of Defense to facilitate the reception of volunteers who are willing to fight for Russia.

Among the volunteers who have volunteered to fight alongside the Russians are some 16,000 Syrian fighters who, after years of terrorist siege (by Takfir and Wahabi groups), are highly trained and have invaluable experience of fighting in intricate urban areas. In Damascus public demonstrations in support of Russia have been evident. But the most significant have come from the government of Bashar Al Assad, with videos of special brigade soldiers clamouring for their readiness to go fight in Ukraine.

If NATO thought that the Russians would foolishly penetrate Kiev as they did Grozny in 1995, they are wrong. In addition to the experienced Chechen fighters, Russia will have qualitative elements to counter their mercenaries crouching in the capital.

As things look, Zelensky the NATO puppet with his bid to turn Ukraine into a boggy field for Russian troops can expect nothing but more mud on which his feet will also skate.
