DUBLIN CALLING

How will the Higgins government deal with Netanyahu to protect its men in UNIFIL under Israeli fire?

By Sir Charlattam

‘This is just like 1982, where is the Lebanese army? So, I was told by an old colleague from the old cold war days in Beirut about what the Irish UNIFIL troops who are under fire from the Israelis in southern Lebanon are going through.

The Israelis have been attacking the UN headquarters and its disengagement forces in the south and there is no doubt that the aim is to wipe out traces and eliminate witnesses. These attacks are not mistakes by the gunners or their AIs that they use to bomb. It is a repetition of the same indiscriminate tactics they already used in Gaza and are still using against the refugee camps there.

According to what he told me, Lebanese soldiers have disappeared from the border and the only ones fighting against Israeli attempts to invade the territory are the Shiites and Christians affiliated to the resistance. And it is the hardened Irish Catholic boys who have been trying to protect the Lebanese population in the south and to that end have come under fire from the IDF who have tried to cause yet another unspeakable massacre like the one they caused only a day ago in the Palestinian camp of “Jabalia” on refugees without distinguishing between women and children.

In the north, on the blue line that divides Israel from Lebanon, the IDF is also ruthlessly attacking and shelling civilian homes under the pretext of fighting Hezbollah. But the Blue Helmets group has not been intimidated by the Israelis and this has been taken by Tel Aviv as a provocation. In reality Netanyahu and his sect of Talmudic extremists care little about killing non-Jews, the list of facts proving this is extensive; and if so why wouldn't they go and kill a bunch of Irish Catholics?

If these 300 men expect Secretary General Guterrez to do something and bring Netanyahu and his jackals in the IDF and his knobhead 504 intelligence task force to heel, forget it. Only Ireland and the Irish can save these men and although the Zionist lobby operating on the island through its local networks and agents such as the sinister character called Mathew Brodsky, who operates from the US embassy in Dublin, is trying to threaten the Irish government not to dare press charges against Israel, the Irish foreign minister, Michéal Martin has publicly denounced that a war crime is being carried out.

For the Taoiseach's Department and Higgins, the situation is not an easy one. Just as Britain's MI5 is like fleas on a dog and is entrenched in all Irish public institutions, their CIA colleagues also have their own connections on the island that allow them to pull the strings that are useful to them when there are problems that make Washington uncomfortable. There is no doubt that the crimes the IDF is committing in the Palestinian camps in “Jabalia” where women and children have been burned alive because their tents were set on fire by the cowardly attack of Israeli troops is Netanyahu's big potato problem and to that end, he has already put a news blackout on all the Western media.

It is trying to do the same in South Lebanon where indiscriminate bombings have been registered against Shiite villages and localities where there are no military targets and fighting positions of Hezbollah. Israel uses the same logic by which to assassinate Hassan Nasrallah it wiped out an entire block of flats and all its inhabitants in the urban district of Daniyeh Is there any reason or morality in this?

At the same time Tel Aviv imposes a policy of deception by spreading lies and intoxications as part of a plan to establish a form of censorship of the real facts. That way they don't need to hide the unhideable but they will make up and contextualise it as they please, that's how sinister it is. Remember the first attacks on hospitals, schools, mosques and churches in Gaza City? The IDF spokesman at the time blamed Hamas' Qassam rockets.

Frankly, it seems unrealistic, with the United Nations being a party to these atrocities and no longer a mere witness, the Council of Europe and all the human rights bodies of the European Union doing nothing to prosecute a butcher, really a butcher like Benjamin Netanyahu who operates thanks to the impunity that this silence offers him.

I am not saying anything new when I point out how the BBC and its journalists for hire around the world turn a blind eye or cover up this kind of situation. In their editorials we only see a very meticulous, continuous and venomous anti-Russian and anti-Putin propaganda that reaches childish limits. Although much of the argumentation presented is simply ridiculous and anachronistic, still talking about the red danger or communism as if the USSR still existed, the readers also do their part to make room for this and swallow such rubbish.

If for these media entrepreneurs Putin is so evil that he eats children, what will be left for a guy like Netanyahu who actually murders children, so unpresentable is the guy that it is better not to say anything. The British know or at worst sense that the Establishment and its temporary administrators in Parliament and Downing Street are mere servile puppets subservient to the influences of the powerful friends of the CFI and multi-millionaire Zionist lobbyists who operate to conceal these inconveniences and do so throughout the Commonwealth.

No doubt in this universe, MI5 and the CIA have very well classified and controlled politicians and public interest figures in London and the Anglo-American world and if they step out of the fold, they will simply let them know that they know their intimate sins.

But while these dirty dealings are going on in the upper echelons of European politics, these same IDF types are being supported by the Americans and surely British elements putting the Dublin government in a dilemma.

GEO-STRATEGIC ARM WRESTLING

If Washington, London and NATO are the ones feeding the overweening political ambitions of the likes of Netanyahu and Zelensky, why can't the Russian Federation and China counteract these games?

By Sir Charlattam

On a typical wet London day I met up with one of my friends from the old days of intrigue for a chat about what fascinates us, politics and the undeclared war situation between NATO and the Russian Federation. On a rainy Wednesday like in the old Cold War days, scotch in the middle when reports had to be passed to our bases, that's what this meeting resembled.

When he told me that European Commission Vice-President Borrell had pointed out that Ukraine would not have lasted 15 days against Russia, it is not his statement that surprises, but why he is saying it now. Actually, these useless bureaucrats with Der Von Leyen at the helm knew this and so did our rulers in the islands. Even the dimwitted Johnson, Fallon and of course the loudmouth Ben Wallace knew that provoking Moscow by stinging Zelensky's neo-Nazis to make them fight was a high risk for the West.

What is happening in Ukraine is similar to what they are provoking in the Middle East and it is no accident. Have you ever wondered how long Israel would last without the help of the US and NATO? Since Netanyahu betrayed the willingness of Washington and Paris to negotiate a ceasefire by assassinating Nasrallah, Lebanon has become a tasty delicacy that he thinks he can devour. In this situation, ask yourself Who is defending Lebanon at this time of day? You dismiss the Lebanese army which is as light and fluffy as my grandmother's carrot cake Didn't you see how they fled the border when they saw the IDF coming? Even it is no secret that that army is riddled with spies paid by the Mossad and the CIA What can you expect from an infected organism? I think Hezbollah already knew about this, saw it in 1982 when it was born and then every time Israel felt like bombing or raiding Lebanon. But when Hezbollah appeared, the Israelis began to have problems and all their plans to try to degrade the political situation in the country were thwarted not by the Lebanese intelligence and security services, but by Hezbollah's networks.

This gave every administrator in Tel Aviv and the Zionist lobbies in America and, of course, in Britain sleepless nights. It is from there that policies are created and sustained that are ultimately aimed at fulfilling Washington's agenda.

The same dynamics are seen in both scenarios, Israel and Ukraine are two pawns of the same player and that is none other than the US.

This is producing cascading consequences like dominoes. Look now at how the price of oil has skyrocketed with the escalation in the Middle East and Tel Aviv's threat to Tehran. Can you imagine Bandas Abbas burning and the Strait of Hormuz closed to oil tanker traffic? This will affect everyone and it will affect the Americans and us too.

Certainly Ukraine has lasted so long against Russia but the price it has already paid is very high and worse, it still has a lot more to pay. Israel would not yet be looking at the same price and is confident that with all the help it is receiving it can wipe out its neighbours, but didn't the Arabs, Palestinians and Iranians know that and have already prepared for the occasion?

Ukraine and Israel are two platforms, two strategic outposts for NATO. Netanyahu and Zelensky are two specimens from the same pot and play the same role only in different scenarios. In fact, they have been of such importance for decades, but since China and Russia consolidated their positions as regional powers, the bureaucrats who laughed at this have ended up grabbing their own asses without foreseeing that some people learn from their mistakes.

There is one thing that will certainly not change about this, and that is the plan that has been put in place by the Establishment in Washington that will be carried out with either Donald Trump or the vapid Kamala Harris. And whatever Starmer and his gang say there will be followed to the letter, simple as that.

The way things look, and with the high-flown vocabulary adopted by candidate Harris to win over the warmongers, the more certain I am of what I am saying. There is no difference between Harris, Biden or Trump, in fact there is no difference between any of the possible aspirants to rule a mafia system. Every day I am more and more convinced that the bullets for Trump were not because he is anti-establishment or a traitor to American values, but because he is too unpalatable to a part of the Establishment and they simply wanted to dispatch him, do you see what I mean?

The war against Russia will continue and so will Netanyahu and Co's campaign in the Middle East unless Russia and China take a more present and leading role in the region. Don't forget that Netanyahu is a son of a bitch, but he is not an idiot and he knows when a shoe pinches. Why do you think he flew off to Moscow when the Yemenis of Ansar Allah managed to hit Tel Aviv with a hypersonic missile, where do you think that missile came from? The arrogance of Netanyahu and his colleagues in Washington reaches to the sky and that is why they believe that Moscow does not know how to play the game better than they do. That is why he went to Putin to beg him to stop supplying the Yemenis with missiles of this kind because his ‘Arrow’ systems are useless against them.

And I would hate to imagine if the Chinese were to lend the Yemenis a hand and provide them with the new surface-to-sea ballistic missile they have been testing for further testing.

Equally, all this has served to pull back the curtain and show the reality of what each of these situations represents on the international stage. Neither Ukraine nor Israel would last a day without the support of the US and the entire NATO infrastructure if they had to face up to the responsibilities of the causes they have unleashed. Today, after two years of war, the Ukrainian army has all but disappeared and is only sustained by the not-so-secret involvement of NATO resources. In the case of Israel, its IDF has only demonstrated that it can flatten cities and massacre civilians but after a year of fighting against Hamas in Gaza and today in Lebanon against Hezbollah, the military results do not match Tel Aviv's claims.

This, in each case, represents the failure not only of guys like Zelensky and Netanyahu but of the US machinations coming from its institutional sewers where Biden is just another stinking turd that has already been flushed down the system's toilet and Starmer is on his way to becoming something similar.

He allí el problema.

CHAGOS YES, MALVINAS NO

What can London's sudden recognition of Mauritius' sovereignty over the Chagos Archipelago mean and why could it not do so in similar situations?

Sidney Hey

London's surprise recognition of the sovereignty of the Chagos archipelago to Mauritius in the central Indian Ocean, which had been under British colonial control, has triggered a number of questionings and observations that could be odious when compared to other situations.

In a sudden twist, the Chagos archipelago in Mauritius' territorial waters has for decades been a strategic enclave for Britain's interests, but more importantly, for NATO, it has been recognised as a territorial jurisdiction of the Republic of Mauritius, which the authorities in Port Louis, its capital, are delighted about. But as remarkable as this news is, on closer inspection it is not so remarkable.

For decades, the situation in the archipelago remained under the iron control of Britain and the USA, which was responsible, among other things, for placating the political opposition that disputed the established status quo. From 1967 to 1973, with the Port Louis Agreement, the British cleared the island of Diego Garcia and other adjacent islands, forcing the native inhabitants to move to Mauritius and the Seychelles. As you can guess, any inhabitant who resisted the process would have been ‘democratically’ persuaded to do so, and even if that had involved the use of force, who would have known about such arbitrariness against these remote settlers in those years?

Of course, with that sarcastic character as part of the British idiosyncrasy, they gave the Chagossians a paltry compensation to say that they had no claim to anything. Of course not, most of those families did not resolve their lives with this forced handout and were subjected to living in total marginalisation. For the British, the Chagossians were then, and must still (behind closed doors) be regarded today, as ‘inferior’ and for the Americans as little more than human.

Even today it is no secret that the British misled the United Nations by falsifying reports that Diego Garcia had no permanent settlers as a way of making the Chagossians invisible. For London and Washington DC the sector represents a highly strategic point for US global military and intelligence operations in the quadrant where the archipelago is located with the particular aim of keeping an eye on China.

It is precisely in this archipelago that the island and base of Diego Garcia is located, from where the US and Britain have carried out several of their operations of attack and interference in the sovereignty of other latitudes, as in the cases against Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and any other enclave where military operations were carried out. So, if this island is part of the archipelago, its full sovereignty will also be recognised in Mauritius. Well, no.

As can be seen, what initially appeared to be very auspicious for Mauritius and a novelty in decolonisation processes, had a small catch in the announcement, or as they say, a clause in very small letters as an inescapable condition for it to be viable. PM Starmer has not granted this without gaining something in return and it may have more to do with cost-cutting than with political recognition. Hey, it's a deal with the British and like old pirates they know all the tricks and gimmicks not to lose even when it looks like they do.

If the British were really changing the nature of their foreign policy or somehow trying to make amends for their colonial past, they could do the same with similar situations such as the Falklands, Sandwiches and South Georgia archipelago in the South Atlantic.

But in reality, neither London is doing this for the benefit of Port Louis nor is the situation in the South Atlantic archipelago comparable to that of the Chagos. We should not overlook the fact that the British have a strong influence in the Indian Ocean government, so the deliberations to reach an agreement have not been traumatic, let alone confrontational; they simply do what suits London's interests.

The case with Argentina is already very different. In 1982 Buenos Aires took a decision which on the face of it nobody expected, least of all in London. The military action taken on 2 April that year was not the wild adventure of a drunken dictator. It was a well-plotted act which, although militarily the Argentines did not win (thanks to NATO and the treachery of Washington DC), legally they did. This is where the British have a bittersweet taste, for by that action Argentina interrupted the legal term of occupation that would have given Britain perfect title to the archipelago.

While today Argentina poses no military threat to the islands and this is reinforced by the presence of NATO and an Argentine political class with its asses bought, London has to deal with that 1982 non-recognition of the Argentines and a much more serious unresolved problem at home and that is the Kelpers. That's right, the islanders are more dangerous to the British Establishment than the Argentines because the former have something the latter lost: the initiative to take their autonomy from London.

Although politicians and bureaucrats in London dismiss the political aspirations of the Kelpers, whom they regard as second-class islanders because they are an insignificant number on the islands, they should not overlook the fact that the enterprises that already exist there can finance an independent state, raise an army of their own and become like one of those Persian Gulf monarchies where money buys even the inhabitants.

Who knows, the Kelpers might have a ‘Prince Leonard’ among them and imitate the Aussies and turn the Falklands into a kingdom of their own or an independent ‘Big Island’ as Australia did in March 1986 and with enough power to sustain itself there and repel any attempt by London, and it will be British and Argentine politicians who will have to negotiate together to deal with this possible spawn.

NO SORPRESA
