PAPER AND CARDBOARD SET DESIGN

Why have Zelensky and his comrades swapped the command bunker for film sets?

By Sidney Hey

Certainly, believing Donald Trump is like believing in fairies, the same goes for Britain's Keir Starmer and his ‘willing’ followers who, as we know, are willing (through every dirty trick possible) to plunge Europe and, if they can, the world into nuclear war in order to continue exploiting the business opportunities that arise from war. Along these lines are undoubtedly the guys from ‘Trumpet of the Patriots’ and Clive Palmer, who are waiting for their moment to establish their own Aussie MAGA. But there are also those who are distracted, or at least appear to be, such as Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who said at the beginning of the year: ‘What we want is to see peace so that we can carry out peacekeeping operations.’ He does not seem to see that the dirty game being played by those involved is not about peace.

Zelensky is also showing that something is wrong in his head. His ambition to retain power (fuelled by those ‘willing’ to help him) seems to blind him. His arrogant behaviour and defiant words are not in line with reality. Just a few facts from last month put Ukraine's suffering into perspective. Last month's Russian surgical strikes against the energy hubs of Konotop and Nizhym in the east have destroyed transformer substations, affecting the electricity supply to key locations such as Sumy and Chernygov and surrounding areas, leaving the entire east disconnected. On the same subject, but with regard to gas supplies, there are reports of cuts due to damage in distribution centres.

The situation is no better on the military front. The confirmed loss of Pokrovsk and the treacherous lies of the British and American media to cover it up put into context a horrific situation marked by the pounding of drones, Pion 2S7 artillery and Iskander tactical missiles. Added to the increase in casualties is the undeniable increase in desertions and surrenders that cannot be covered by foreign mercenaries (Polish and Colombian) who are either already dead, incapacitated by wounds, or seeking to escape due to Kiev's failure to fulfil its contract. Those who were once bishops are now mere pawns to fill the gaps in a shattered front line. In this sense, Zelensky and his people are running out of human resources, and the methods used to find them are no longer tolerated. His policy of street kidnappings carried out by his secret police is encountering growing citizen resistance that could trigger a mass revolt, and NATO will be powerless to prevent it.

The situation on the battlefield is very clear and definitely does not favour the Ukrainians. A few days ago, a colleague who makes his money training Colombian mercenaries confided in me that Kiev, after sending them to the trenches, barely supplies them with ammunition for a couple of days and that they have no means of communication to request support or simply regroup. The terrain is becoming bogged down and the roads are becoming impassable. Food is not arriving because Russian drones and artillery fire are cutting off supply lines. He even told me about the executions of some who had rebelled. And who is in charge of various sections of these unfortunate souls? Former SAS, a few British SBS, some American adventurers, Irishmen and several unidentified Atlanticist officers who are also biting the dust.

The only resource that Zelensky and his colleagues still have is the deception operation run from comfortable flats in Kiev by British military intelligence, MI6 and MI5 types. This package naturally includes editorials and analyses from media outlets such as SBS, BBC, TIMES and the entire corporation that misinforms or misleads at the request of the government in order to manipulate public opinion.

Following on from this, there is no doubt that the efforts of the British Ministry of Defence and its colleagues at MI6 and MI5 are focused on sustaining, at all costs, the paper and cardboard scenery they have set up around an unsustainable neo-Nazi regime. The work to whitewash the political reality and military situation of the Ukrainians is undoubtedly very strenuous, but the British talent for creating deceptive atmospheres and speeches riddled with conditionality gives them away.

But even these public relations operations are going down the drain, not only because of the incredible nature of their productions, but also because of the first-hand testimonies of those who have been on Kiev's side. Every day there are more and more testimonies of the truth behind the Atlanticist propaganda. The surrender of hundreds of men, including starving officers with obvious signs of fatigue, are just some of the consequences of an imminent collapse.

With regard to its internal political situation, the rampant corruption of its regime, marked and fuelled by the incessant and multimillion-dollar flow of monetary resources sent from the West (including confiscated Russian funds) and the deals arising from arms and drug trafficking, creates a disgustingly obscene reflection on a population tired of war and mired in deprivation and crisis.

I will venture to make a prediction and ask: How could Volodymyr Zelensky end up if he does not step down in time? There is a scene, the last one in the film ‘Scarface’, in which Tony Montana, surrounded by his enemies and locked in his office, had no companions left but a mountain of cocaine on his desk, and when they came for him, drugged to the core, he took an assault rifle with a grenade launcher and went out to kill and die. Well, that is not how Zelensky will end up. Even with all the cocaine provided by Western agencies, he would not muster the courage. Perhaps when they come for him, he will already be boarding a civilian plane with his wife, bound for London, where he will be relocated until further notice.
